Saddi Delhi – Our Delhi will look like a new city, a city where everything will be of International standards.

The Commonwealth Games are around the corner, and with development on various fronts having been expedited in the past few years, the city can finally be said to have taken its place among the great metropolises of the world.

Where there were once elevated heaps of rubble that you had to maneuver your way around, there are now completed flyovers. A new high-capacity bus service ensures that buses stay in their own lane, segregated from the rest of the road.

No traces of the Metro are visible where they shouldn't be; it's connecting all parts of the city with quiet efficiency. Load shedding is a term youngsters have to look up in the dictionary.

That scenario may not be as improbable as it sounds. When the plans drawn up for city development by the various authorities are implemented, we could see the emergence of one of the world's great metropolises. Ten thousand buses will be replaced by 2009. The new vehicles will have pneumatic doors, low floorboards to ensure easy boarding and alighting, and an automatic vehicle tracking system for monitoring purposes. One joke has it that one of the ways to tell that you're among Delhi's elite is if you've never been on the Metro and don't know anyone who has. Given this perception, can the Metro become a practical means of transport for people who have their own cars, the way the tube is in London?

On the power front, more generating units are in the planning. Land in Bawana, north Delhi, is being developed for a new 1,000 MW power plant and simultaneously a second 330 MW plant will be built at Pragati, next to the existing one.

But a city needs more than just its civic infrastructure to qualify as a world city. In recent years, that's one aspect that has already gained a fair bit, with hotels and restaurants, theatre and world food, multiplexes and malls storming its cultural landscape. The international airport, however slowly, is due for privatizations. There are more golf courses and leisure parks, residential apartments with penthouses and swimming pools and health clubs; services -- everything from restaurant takeaways to groceries -- are on call.

On any evening, there are art shows and international bands performing at prominent venues. The signs are all there for

Delhi -- so far infamous only as India's capital -- becoming a world-class mega polis. But only if the development and growth of its infrastructure keep their date with destiny.

But these things are in pipeline and going slowly. We have to wait and watch to see how the things will change around.

"LOVE AND SEX" Top two motives of crimes in the cities...!

Now days, crimes are rapidly increasing in the metros. And the a survey which has been done by Times of Indias, Says the main motives behind these crimes are either “Love or Sex”. This data is pointing a lots of things towards us….why these things are happening and mostly in the cities, what is the reason behind that. This is the thing, where a man become senseless, he/she don’t ever think anything before doing these crimes.

Few days before the country has seen two recent example of that, and believe me both are horrible and socking. Both news had made a very bad impact on the public. One crime that has been occur in Mumbai, the financial capital of India and the Mumbai police is said to be the best in their business. Neeraj Grover a famous media person is killed in his girl friend flat. His body has been cut into multiple pieces. The reason behind is a Love triangle.

Another socking news came from the capital of India…..said to be a very safe place. A 14 years old girl- Arushi Talwar murdered in her bedroom. Though its not clear yet, but police is saying that her father Dr. Talwar has killed her. Same here, the reason is illegal sexual relationship.

According to data compiled by the National Crime Records Bureau, while love affairs and sexual causes are among the top three motives for all murders and culpable homicides committed in the country in 2006, in states like Punjab, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh they are the top cause for murders. At the all-India level, personal enmity accounted for 10% of all killings, while 8% people lost their life due to property disputes and 7% were killed because of love affairs or sexual causes. The data says 64% of murder cases were related to other motives, not classified, which is not defined. However, killings for motives that can be traced to love affairs and sexual causes accounts for more than 10% of cases in most states with a high degree of urbanization. In contrast, in states with low urbanization like Bihar, Assam, Chhattisgarh or Orissa, property disputes or personal enmity are more likely to lead to people getting killed.

The pattern suggests some connection with urbanization, though not a simple one-to-one correspondence. One explanation for this could be that less urbanized societies provide fewer chances of contact with the members of the opposite sex outside the bounds of family and kinship.

Father is the Killer : Police.

The news that came yesterday, which was widely suspected but has shocked everybody. No one is ready to believe what cops are saying. people couldn't understand, why a father killed his only child. The neighbors of Dr. Talwar are in deep depress. Additional director general of police, crime, Brijlal claimed that Dr Rajesh Talwar had an “extra marital affair” with the wife of his colleague, one Anita Durrani, who used to visit him when Dr Talwar’s wife was away.

“Hemraj knew about the affair and had told about it to Arushi. While the girl had mentioned this to her friends in school, Hemraj had also told about it to other servants including one Krishna, who worked at Dr Talwar’s clinic,” Brijlal said. All this had angered Dr Talwar.

He said that Arushi had opposed the affair of her father. In the meantime the proximity between Arushi and Hemraj had also grown, which was resented by her father.

Mr. Lal said the domestic help was first struck senseless with a hammer and a surgeon’s knife used to slit open his throat. After committing this murder on the roof of his residence, he added, the doctor came down, went to his daughter’s bedroom and carried out the second murder.

He said the twin murders were executed after midnight on May 15 and there was a difference of about 30 minutes between the first and second killing. In the intervening period, Dr. Talwar had a couple of drinks, Mr. Lal claimed.

Dr Talwar had gone out that evening at 9.30pm and returned home two hours later. On his return, he surfed the net, and then went looking for Hemraj to his room.

He didn't find him there and went to Aarushi's room to find Hemraj with the girl in — as IG, Meerut Zone, Gurdarshan Singh, put it — an "objectionable but not compromising" position. It's not that blood rushed to the doctor's head and he killed in blind rage. Instead, he persuaded Hemraj to come with him to the terrace.

On his part, Dr Talwar vehemently denied his role in the murder. When he was being taken away, the harried doctor told reporters that he was being "framed". He said he didn't know why he was being framed. "It is being done by Dinesh Varma," he added. Now, who is this? Dr Talwar's brother is also a Dinesh, but he is Dinesh Talwar, not Varma. Also, the murder weapon has not yet been found.

The police is saying this without any fact and evidence and also no one is ready to believe that a father has killed is only child. However Dr. Talwar has been taken under judicial custody, we have to wait for the clear picture.
