Monkey Menace: Take A Look Around.

If you are residing in a Delhi colony or society, then you need to be a bit conscious. Delhi has witnessed a several incidents, in which old people, women and children has been attacked by monkeys.
Many of the DDA’s colonies and societies has been developed here by cutting down the forest, mainly in the South Delhi. Monkeys come in the residence area in search of food and shelters, as they hardly get other place for them. Women, children, old people often get attacked by those when they are walking or sitting in the park. Sometimes in their house balconies.
Residents of E Block in East Of Kailash in south Delhi are facing a threat from simians, with incidents of attack by monkey has became common. Residents says that, the Municipal Corporation Of Delhi (MCD) has not taken any action after so many repeated complaints. Residents says they afraid to leave their doors open as monkeys enters in the house and pull out foodstuffs from the refrigerator.
For MCD officials, it has became a very difficult task as they don’t have much numbers of monkey catchers. Though they had increased the remuneration given to the catchers from Rs.450 to Rs.600 for each monkey, but still they failed to get more catchers.
I hope MCD officials will sooner come up with a better solution for major issue. Until then be careful, and don’t let your door open.
